Feliciano Lopez - Taro Daniel. ATP Marbella Prediction (5 April 2021)

The 39-year-old Lopez's career appears to be on its way to completion. The Spaniard goes out to the tennis court less and less. By and large, he does this only at major tournaments. At the beginning of the year, Feliciano performed quite unexpectedly well at the Australian Open, where he managed to reach the third round of the competition.

After the Australian major, Lopez suffered three defeats in a row - at the tournament in Marseille, the Spaniard lost three sets to Jo-Wilfrid Tsonga,  he lost to Miomir Kechmanovic in Acapulco, and he lost to Alexei Popyrin in Miami.

Daniel has already tried the Spanish soil. The day before, the Japanese had three fights at the Challenger in Marbella. In the first round of the competition, Taro won a landslide victory over the Swede Leo Borg (6-1, 6-2), the son of the former first racket of the world Bjorn Borg.

Then the Japanese also dealt with the Spaniard Carlos Gomez-Herrera in two games (7-5, 6-4). In the quarterfinals of the tournament, Daniel lost three sets to Huam Munar (6-4, 2-6, 3-6).
